Bhartiya Vidya Mandir, Udham Singh Nagar organized Inter House Chess Tournament in the school premises today with great fervor under the supervision of Sh. Baljeet Singh Gill, H.O.D of Physical Education Dept. Hon’ble Sh. M.M.Bamba ji (Treasurer, BVM Trust) inaugurated the tournament. Total 162 BVMites (boys and girls) from Swami Vivekanand house, Aurobindo house, Bhagar Singh house and Lokmanya Tilak house participated with great zeal and zest. Overall trophy was grabbed by Aurobindo house by winning 5 Gold medals, 4 Silver and 1 bronze medal. The Principal Mrs. Bandana Sethi congratulated all the winners and wished them good luck in the future too. She applauded sincere efforts of the Physical Education Dept. as well.
